Class Song
"It's a Great Day For CV"

By Joy Cooper and Margie Axtell
(Sung to the tune of: It's a Great Day for Singing.)

It's a great day for CV, and the Class of '62
We're the first to have spent here our 7th through 12th year.
And now at last we are through.

It's a great day for CV, our colors are red and gray,
Some seniors are grieving because they are leaving
Yet others are happy and gay.

Hooray!

Yeah, it's a great day for CV, our high school days will soon end.
With our teacher's advice, we will surely suffice
and we'll never forget all our friends.

Yes, we've spent happy days here, the memories will live in our heart.
We've had lots of dances and dates and romances,
But now it is time we must part.............

C.V. C.V. Good-bye
