Trying to get ready to retire if this stockmarket will stabilize. Barbara Spak and I use to play golf in high school at state park---we have continued to enjoy the game and actually went to golf school together in l995 (it didn't help my game). In any case, we will golf at the drop of a hat. My husband (Joe) is a CPA who does financial planning---he tries to keep me straight financially. After 32 years of marriage I don't think there is much hope of my getting these credits and debits right. ![]() The Gifford Boys ![]() Brad and Elizabeth's Twins: Brad, Jr., and Annabel, age 2 (2007) ![]() Proud Grandparents (2007) ![]() The La Russo Girls: Joan (CV '62), Phyllis (CV '64), and Sharon (CV '68) Looking forward to seeing you all at our 2007 Reunion---let's get together class of 1962. My husband and I are both collecting Social Security and every day we talk about the issues that arise once you reach these golden years. We have been blessed with pretty good health but still rely on one of those Monday, Tuesday etc….. boxes for some minor medications. I have retired from doing Interior Design work and now specialize in having fun. I play lots of golf, mahjong, canasta, bridge and even a little poker. We try to travel once a year to some interesting location. Ireland is our destination this year. We spend most of the winter months in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. Atlanta, Georgia is our primary residence the rest of the year. BR> Our two sons keep us pretty busy. Brad has a set of twins (Annabel and Brad) and little John. He lives near Orlando, Florida so we see him quite often. Little Joe lives in Atlanta and works for Joe Sr. He lost his wife to leukemia five years ago. My younger sister (Phyllis) lives about ten miles away from us in Atlanta. My older sister lives in North Carolina (Sharon). I am very content in my life as I feel very fortunate to have married the “Mr. Right” for me. Forty-three years of marriage has provided the both of us with some interesting challenges. Some of these challenges have been good and some not so much so. |
