From Bob and Lyn Krivanek We have had a hectic year in our new "retirement home" in Leesburg, VA - about 11 acres with a large ranch home, pool, kennel building for the Shelties, and LOTS of work to do. We are remodeling the kitchen/dining room into a big country kitchen, trying to reclaim neglected landscaping and flower beds, mowing a LOT of grass. We still raise and show our Dundee Shelties; currently there are close to 40 adults, 20 newborn puppies and 4 cats to add some diversity! We always have lots of company - dog friends, family etc. - but have lots of room and enjoy visitors. We are in the process of moving Bob's mother and her husband into a retirement home about 30 miles away, trying to attend two nieces' and a nephew's wedding, a niece's graduation from law school. Retirement is NOT restful!!! We have four grandchildren - two boys and two girls; the oldest, Chelsea, will spend a week with us this summer. We'll try to show her the sights of Northern Virginia and DC. We hope we are able to make the reunion and see everyone! Bob & Lyn Krivanek Dundee Shelties - since 1979 |
