Pete and Me with our Streetrod, a 1934 Ford

I married Pete Mooney in 1964. We have four children living in various parts of the country. Our daughter, Michelle, lives in New Hampshire and has two little girls, Meghan and Shannon. Melissa is single and lives in Chicago. Michael is married, lives in Iowa and has a daughter, Sarah, and a son, Peter. Matthew is single and lives in Albany, NY. I am a secretary in Human Resources at Binghamton University. Pete was forced into an early retirement due to a head-on collision near our home five years ago and I am hoping to retire in about four years.

Our Family (left to right): Daughter Melissa; Son Mike, his wife, Angie and her daughter, Kelsey; Son Matthew, Grand-daughters Shannon, Sarah, and Meghan; Son-in-law Shawn and daughter Michelle.

I am looking forward to spending more time quilting, working in my flower gardens and exploring genealogy a bit more agressively. Pete and I love to travel and after years of family camping in a truck camper, kind of cramped space but lots of fun, we have expanded our horizons. We have gone on two windjammer cruises in the Caribean and did the Inland Passage cruise to Alaska. We try to fly to different areas of the U.S. every year and see the scenery. Summers are spent visting family and friends and going to car shows in our 1934 Ford.

Looking forward to getting "reacquainted" in September!
