![]() After high school I graduated S.U.N.Y.Albany, '66 with a Bachelor of Arts with a major in Social Studies, Minors in Education and Library Science. S.U.N.Y.Albany, Jan '69 with Master of Information and Library Science Graduated Cornell University, '82 with Master of Industral and Labor Relations. Graduated American Yoga College, 200 and 500 Hour Teaching Certificates and became a Registered Yoga Teacher. So, I am a BA MILS MILR RYT whatever that means. AND who cares? Various library jobs from 1966- 1977. Have done school libraries from K- 12, Consulted at University and Public Libraries across the U.S., was Cornell Univ. Reference Librarian, ILR School, and was Head of Reference Services for Chevron Corporate Library. In a nutshell, I don't know much, BUT I CAN FIND ALMOST ANYTHING, my garage excluded! After graduating from Cornell, I moved to the San Francisco Bay Area, specifically, Concord in the East Bay. I worked in many different positions for Human Relations in Chevron. They included Chemicals, Labor Relations, Resources ( the mining company), Overseas Petroleum Home Office and in Angola, West Africa. I gathered lots of experience and great stories from Angola and various trips into the mines. After Fibromyalgia and Breast Cancer, I couldn't work, so I became a yoga teacher. What a change of pace! I am on disability retirement and my husband still works. Where, when to retire? That project is still under discussion--lots of discussion as we don't see the same picture at the moment. ![]() They say the second time is a charm and Rick's and my marriage is a testament to that.
