1968 Received AB Biology from Hartwick College, Oneonta 1970 Masters Degree from New York Medical College, Graduate School of Nursing 1977 On Sabatical from Pace University Received Certification as Pediatric Nurse Practioner from Upstate Medical Center 1980 Became nationally certified in Pediatrics from NAPNAP 1981 Became nationally certified as Physician Assistant 1983 Became certified as Women's Health Care Nurse Practioner from Downstate Medical Center and Margaret Sanger Institute During my time and studies have pioneered in the field of Nurse Practionering. First Nurse Practioner at Long Island College Hospital. Opened first School Based Health Service in a Brooklyn high school and in Plainfield, N.J. Now caring for the walking sick and wounded in the triple cities. Finished research on a flu drug and currently working on a (middle ear infection) media study. Have the one son, who is a senior at CVHS this year. He is a National Merit Semi-Finalist, is active in Band and wants a career in Computer Science. I enjoy traveling--am writing this at Market Street in San Francisco. Met Katthy Weug who gives a great tour. I have travelled to Europe, Carribean, through the U.S., including Alaska and Hawaii. I love cooking, snorkelling and gardening. Does anyone remember Mr. Buffino's 6th grade class and throwing erasers? |
